More info

The Mobile Acoustic Calibrator is an ideal device for calibrating microphones with different sizes. It is equipped with adapters for 1.1/2-inch and 1/4-inch microphones. The acoustic calibrator works with a frequency of 1000 Hz, which is the international calibration standard. This frequency is the reference for different A, B, C or D weighting filters. The acoustic calibrator has IEC 942, class 1 accuracy. This guarantees a calibration pressure of 94 ±0.3 dB (1 Pa) and 114 ± 0.3dB (10Pa). This calibration pressure makes the acoustic calibrator perfect for quality control of sound level meters. This allows you to accurately check and calibrate the sound level meter. The Mobile Acoustic Calibrator is a very useful device to ensure the accuracy of microphones with different dimensions. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-SC 09.

One hertz is one cycle per second, meaning repeating cycle as an event. For example, hertz is applied physics measuring the number of times for a second wave (either acoustic or electromagnetic) is repeated or can be applied, among other uses, to ocean waves that reach the Beach vibrations per second or a solid. The quantity that measures the frequency hertz is called,in this regard, the inverse of the period. One hertz is an oscillation frequency of suffering a particle over a period of one second.
