Product is a PCI Express 1x interface connector, with four female serial (DB9/COM) connectors. It is equipped with ASIX / MCS9900 chipset and supports RS232, RS485 and RS422 modes (for RS485 and RS422 you need an external adapter). In addition, it features full modem control and supports bi-directional speeds from 50 bps up to 16 Mbps/port. The 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9-bit serial format is supported, as are even, odd, null, space, and mark parity parameters. Custom baud rates are supported by an external clock or by programming an internal PLL. The product has a 256 byte deep FIFO in the transmission and reception path of each serial port, as well as supporting power management and remote wake-up features. Manufactured by Lanberg with reference PCE-DB9-004.
