More info
The modern and dynamic durometer with color display is a hardness measuring device for metals. It is designed to measure the hardness of metallic materials in Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell, Leeb, Shore and tensile strength units. The durometer uses the Leeb rebound principle for hardness measurement, in which a metal ball impacts a part to calculate the hardness of the metal. Its backlit color display and keys are also backlit, making it possible to read values in dark places. The striker is connected to the durometer by a cable. The durometer has an internal memory of 6 groups of 100 values each to document the measurements. Measurement values can be transferred to a PC via USB and WiFi interface. In addition, the durometer is powered by conventional 1.5 V AA batteries, with an operating time of approximately 50 hours. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-2900.
