The ultrasonic durometer is a portable tool that performs hardness measurements according to the UCI method. This tool offers the possibility of measuring in three hardness scales: Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers. This tool allows for non-destructive measurements and is capable of determining tensile strength up to 1740 MPa. It is designed for pieces with a minimum thickness of 1 mm. The equipment includes a manual probe with a test force of 50 N. This probe allows measurement in any direction without the need to correct the factor. The ultrasonic durometer has proven to be an effective tool for checking fine, hardened or nitrided parts. It is also useful for checking welded joints and parts with complex geometry. The included downloadable software allows the user to save, retrieve and process the measurement results. The ultrasonic hardness tester is a robust and low-temperature resistant tool that offers the possibility of non-destructive hardness measurements with high precision.
