More info

The water meter is a simple device for measuring the pH value in viscous liquids. Its flat electrode construction makes it ideal for these types of applications. The measuring range of the digital pH-meter is -1 ... 15 pH. This function is achieved thanks to an internal calibration that allows to calibrate up to 3 points and an automatic temperature compensation. The device has an easy-to-read LCD screen, which is operated with 3 keys. The current measured value can be held on the screen. It is powered by 2 AAA type 1.5 V batteries. Finally, to guarantee its direct use, the device is delivered with 3 calibration standards of pH4, pH7 and pH10. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-PH 26F.

Types of batteries
Within the wide range of batteries on the market we can differentiate two large groups, disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Disposable batteries are those that only allow a single use and when they are exhausted they can not be recharged. These batteries can store their energy for years.

Rechargeable batteries are those that can be recharged once exhausted. This type is losing charge when they are storedaccording to voltage. The most common we can find them of 1.2V and 3.7V

As a last point you have to take into account that lithium batteries, Lipo, Life etc. Due to its composition, specific loaders should be used.
