LEDs for DIY montages (Do It Yourself). COB-type LEDs generate a lot of heat, and require to be inscut in contact with a heat dissipating surface. Aluminum grilles or radiators can be a good cooling solution. The result of connecting a COB LED without convenient cooling is that the COB LED burns or burns out in a matter of seconds.
To fix the COB LED to a surface, you can use the holes available, or a thermal silicone. Thermal silicone sticks, resiste the high temperatures, and also makes a correct thermal transfer. See our reference #NK98 for more information.
LED COB warranty
There is a guarantee of operation, but no guarantees will be taken on COB LEDs blown for lack of cooling, or for not connecting the correct voltage. The COB LED must be handled by a technician, who knows the cooling needs of an COB LED.
