More info

The Ford Viscosity Cup is a liquid measuring device useful for determining the viscosity of a liquid quickly and easily. It is designed for low viscous liquids, since dense pastes cannot be measured with this device. This viscosity cup is DIN regulated and made of machined anodized aluminum with interchangeable stainless steel nozzle. The use of this cup is very simple: first the mouthpiece is closed and the cup is filled with the substance to be measured; then, it is passed over the glass with a glass plate to remove the excess material; the spout is then opened and removal of the glass plate activates a timer. When the flow is interrupted for the first time, the timer must be stopped. To guarantee results, it is important to clean the cup each time it is used to avoid debris or scratches that could falsify the measurements. The Ford Viscosity Cup complies with ASTM D1200, D333 and D365 international standards and is a dependable and reliable measuring device for determining the viscosity of liquids. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-125/4.

The DIN is a standard that was developed by the "Deutsches Institut für Normung" (one might call the national standards organization in Germany). The DIN is facing many sectors, but we have tried to focus on the DIN-oriented electronics and computing. In the case of Enclosures means qualifying under the German legislation on racks and is standardized to DIN 41494-7.
