PCE-AS1 Germ Collector

The germ collector is a device used for the control of microbiological contamination in various fields of production, such as the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries and in environmental measurements. Its main function is to quantify the microorganism colonies present in samples using the impaction principle, in which the microorganisms are directly collected in a Petri dish filled with agar. It is characterized by its compact and manageable design, which makes it easy to use, and has a backlit LCD screen for viewing. In addition, it has 99 memory spaces for storing the configured parameters, and can store up to 4000 values with date, time and volume, which allows easy reproduction of the results. One of the advantages of the germ collector is its capacity to adjust the sample volume between 10 and 6,000 liters, with a nominal flow rate of 100 liters per minute (not adjustable). Finally, it is important to note that the germ collector is a portable device that can be battery-powered and easily transported thanks to its durable carrying case, although it can also be connected to the network via a cable. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-AS1.
