Acoustic calibrator that has a 1/2" microphone opening and is certified according to class 2 regulations. This means that the acoustic calibrator is capable of producing and measuring sound pressure levels in a range between 94 dB and 114 dB with an accuracy of ±0.4 dB This makes it possible to check the accuracy of sound level meters and adjust them, if necessary It is a practical and reliable device for calibrating sound level meters It is equipped with a key to switch between different reference levels, and for frequency weightings A, B, C and D. It is powered by 2 1.5 V batteries (type AA) that provide an autonomy of up to 50 hours. It has an automatic disconnection that turns the device off after 20 minutes of inactivity It is the ideal tool to ensure the precision of sound level meters.Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-SC 43.

One hertz is one cycle per second, meaning repeating cycle as an event. For example, hertz is applied physics measuring the number of times for a second wave (either acoustic or electromagnetic) is repeated or can be applied, among other uses, to ocean waves that reach the Beach vibrations per second or a solid. The quantity that measures the frequency hertz is called,in this regard, the inverse of the period. One hertz is an oscillation frequency of suffering a particle over a period of one second.
