LEDs for DIY montages (Do It Yourself). COB-type LEDs generate a lot of heat, and requiren be installed in contact with a heat dissipating surface. Aluminum grilles or radiators can be a good cooling solution. The result of connecting a COB LED without convenient cooling is that the COB LED burns or burns out in a matter of seconds.
To fix the COB LED to a surface, you can use the holes available, or a thermal silicone. Thermal silicone pega, resists high temperatures, and also performs a correct thermal transfer. See our reference #NK98 for more information.
