More info

The UCI ultrasonic durometer is a portable device used to measure the hardness of materials with a minimum thickness of 1 mm. This tool is nondestructive, so hardness can be accurately measured without damaging the part with a test force of 50 N. This tool is primarily used to measure hardness on Rockwell, Brinell, and Vickers scales, as well as determine tensile strength up to 1740 MPa. This tool can also be equipped with a D-type hammer probe, making it a Leeb hardness durometer. This tool stands out for its easy handling, its robust construction and its high resistance to low temperatures, down to -20 ºC. The UCI ultrasonic durometer is an ideal tool for checking thin, hardened or nitrided parts, as well as for checking welded joints or parts with complex geometries. Manufactured by PCE with reference PCE-3000UL.
