The portable roughness meter is a handheld device, designed to measure surface roughness, thanks to its power supply from an integrated Li-Ion battery. The roughness tester measures according to the profile method based on ISO 3274, with an inductive path measurement. This measurement is achieved through a probe, with a specific angle and radius, for a more or less precise image or representation of the surface profile. The roughness tester's OLED screen is bright and easy to read, as well as allowing the display of 20 measurement values. These values can be transferred later via the included micro USB interface. The value analysis software is very useful for different measurement series. The roughness tester also includes a roughness standard and a calibration base to check the accuracy of the device. The sensor protector protects the roughness tester from external impacts. The roughness meter is a device for measuring Ra, Rz, Rq and Rt, with high precision and great ease of use. Manufactured by PCE, with reference PCE-RT 1200.
