More info

The recording sound level meter is an ideal device for continuous noise measurements. It is equipped with a large LCD screen to display the values clearly. Additionally, it provides a 4-20 mA analog output for connecting to controllers. The recording sound level meter measures in a range of 30-130 dB with a choice of A and C frequency weighting, as well as fast and slow time weighting. The device stores the values on a memory card in an Excel (xls) format, so there is no need to work with additional software to read the values. The recording sound level meter is powered by 6 AAA type 1.5 V batteries, or by the included mains adapter. The recording sound level meter is useful for places that require permanent noise control, such as shopping centers or warehouses. This is because it can be connected to a controller that closes the doors and windows when a certain limit value has been reached. Manufactured by PCE, with reference PCE-SLD 10.

Types of batteries
Within the wide range of batteries on the market we can differentiate two large groups, disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries.
Disposable batteries are those that only allow a single use and when they are exhausted they can not be recharged. These batteries can store their energy for years.

Rechargeable batteries are those that can be recharged once exhausted. This type is losing charge when they are storedaccording to voltage. The most common we can find them of 1.2V and 3.7V

As a last point you have to take into account that lithium batteries, Lipo, Life etc. Due to its composition, specific loaders should be used.
