The tellurometer is an instrument designed to measure the resistance and voltage against ground of lightning rods and ground connections in buildings and houses. It is provided with a hermetic casing to comply with safety standards that guarantee the safety of technical personnel when carrying out work outdoors. The tellurometer is suitable for measuring smaller components, such as grounding electrodes and lightning rods, as well as for measuring the resistance and pitch of conductors and mating components. Modern switching circuits minimize the influence of voltage and resistance to ground from the surrounding ground electrodes. This is reinforced with a precision control mechanism that guarantees calibration with the tellurometer. To avoid the influence of stray currents, the tellurometer has a control frequency of 820 Hz, as well as an integrated filter to suppress distorting signals. Manufactured by PCE, with reference PCE-ET 3000.
