            The turbidimeter is a device designed to measure turbidity with a large display for easy viewing. The measurement range is 0 to 1000 NTU and is divided into two sections to increase accuracy. The simple keyboard allows intuitive handling. The device works with an 830 nm LED light source, which is invisible to the human eye, so it does not affect the measurement reading. It is equipped with two photodiodes, one at 180º and the other at 90º, to use the transmitted light for the upper ranges and the diffused light for the lower measurement ranges. For the higher ranges, there is another photodiode on the opposite side for the transmitted light measurement. This feature allows measurements to be made in colored liquids, such as red wine. Manufactured by PCE, with reference PCE-TUM 20.
